You are so right. On the most successful teams I've worked, we enjoyed each other along the journey to accomplishing the goals of the team. It is so energizing to be apart of a team where the members are encouraged and freed to be creative, engaged and authentic.

In ministry that is so important. Our friend Pastor Zeb said it when he visited us in August. "Relationships build ministry not the other way around."

Great observation. Maybe the American team needs to spend time together as a team prior to the event. (I'm assuming they don't) to build a team personality.

Good application for ministry teams to socialize together for a time prior to getting down to business.
